Huge shout out to our friends the Guevara's for hosting Friendsgiving this year!
It was our friend group's third year doing it and I love how it continues to grow year after year.
Everyone brings a side or two and it is always interesting to see what people make from their families Thanksgiving table.
Jared and I brought mixed berry jello salad. Sounds gross I know, but every year my mom and I make a triple batch so we can have plenty of left overs!
The recipe comes from my Uncle Chris's family and is now a staple.
(It is the pink purple blob on my plate)
Ingredients:
2 packages Tapioca pudding (cook to serve kind)
1 package raspberry or strawberry jello
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 bag of mixed berries
2 cups of cold water
1- 8oz extra creamy cool whip
Cooking Instructions:
Combine Tapioca, jello and water. Heat until mixture thickens.
Cool mixture
Drain pineapple
Fold in all fruit and cool whop
Chill for at least 2 hours
Serve
