We hosted our second annual Memorial Party this past Sunday. Hosting is one of my favorite things about home ownership. I love the chance for all of our friends and family to get together. Of course this weekend is more than just grilling and sales. It is a great time to reflect how others have sacrificed it all in order for us to do all these things. Thank you to those brave men and women and of course their families who are missing them even more today.

Like a crazy person I had signed up for a 10k on Memorial Day. It was misting this morning, but it was nice that it wasn't so hot. It wasn't my worst 10k which I was pleasantly surprised after all the travel I have been doing combined with the lack of training.
